I wanted to do this as well. I have seen several members over at my350z do this. Is there any way to guarantee that it will not sag?

It's going to sag, I've had a shop do a headliner for a customer professionally and it still sagged.

You need to get suede with a foam padding, it'll hold a lot better, that's what I plan on doing once I come across some of that padded suede.

I would never use Spray 77 on that. 3M makes a special adhesive specifically for headliners.
