My Evolution thread

I've been wanting to create one of these for the longest time to document a picture timeline of my car, but figured I should wait until I had enough to show an actual progression. Now seems like a good time to do so.
Sadly I couldn't find any actual day 1 pic of it so this is as close to stock picture I could find. Ok so let's get started

2008

Stock with Stillen Grille and Stillen lip

2009

Added new wheels: XIX X17

Added Megan Racing axle-back Exhaust

Added Tanabe NF210 springs

2010

Added Ironman and tinted tails

Added Autokits-X Ryou grill + Molded AK CF lip + refinished the wheels black

Added Autokit V1 CF diffuser

2011

Dropped on Tein SSP coil + refinished the wheels in gunmetal + AK CF sides

Refinished the paint scheme on the molded autokit lip

2012

Added HKS catback exhaust + Removed AK diffuser and painted the valence Obisidian black

hands down since i joined this forum 2 years ago (i think almost to the day today) your car has been an inspiration, showing me how great this car can look when done correctly. i may have gone a different course than you modding wise, but hands down love everything you did. loved seeing it in person last year at the vossen meet in miami too

Great progress thread, love the repainted wheels & new grill. Those rotors look just like the ones I'm getting ready to install, are those from brakeperformance.com? And if so, how are you liking them? Those Tanabe springs drop pretty low compared to the sedan version, nice choice!
Everything you've done looks top-notch!

Thanks Jon. Really like the Mu pads and dust level with them isn't bad at all considering this is a very low/no noise pad.

Yes they are the brakeperformance rotors. I've been very satisfied with them. I had the dreaded squeaky brake issue most experience on the stock setup. Switched to these and Mu pads and it's been on quiet ride ever since then. I've actually recommended them to a few people here who are also satisfied with them.

That looks beautiful, I'll be messing with my 37s soon and I've been thinking about going in a similar direction. Are you still running the stock air intakes? It looks like the OEM airboxes in one of the later pictures.

The intake are stock but I swapped in the HKS drop-in filters. For a while there I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do for intakes so I figured drop-ins would be best until that decision was made.
