Now Thats What I Call Brakes Vol. 1

Ok so we have a painted calipers thread, and both agressive offset and tire threads, lets show some love to the big brake guys. I know there are a few of us out there, lets see some variety. I just installed my third BBK and am loving it, started w/OEM Akebonos then Alliance, moved to Wilwood and now StopTech, and lets just say the StopTechs are killing all the rest.

StopTech

Damn those look awesome, truly a BBK smorgasbord. Are you just extra tough on brakes or just always looking for something better? At any rate, those are off the hook. Do the Wilwoods have better clearance than the Akebonos? And are you selling the Wilwoods?

Sold them already but they gave a lot of clearance, more than any of the other kits. Not hard on the brakes at all just love the look and feel. (Insert thats what she said joke here) The Alliance kit wasn't worth the money, could not tell the difference in them vs the OEM Akebono kit, the Wilwoods held up great on the mountain roads at ZDayz even with heavy braking, and the StopTech is just being broken in but has a great feel so far.

Thanks for the info. My new wheels would need a 5mm spacer to clear the Akebonos and don't really want the front tires out any further. May have to give the Wilwoods a closer look.
