I got a clear bra installed a week ago. The day i picked it up from the shop, that night a storm rolled in with hails. The shop specifically said NO WASHING for 3-4 days! Now it's about to storm??? No garage, no inside parking...what to do? Ran to nearest walmart to get a cheap car cover, put blankets on Reggie & covered him up. It's exactly a week, took him back to the shop for a check up. Make sure there's no more air bubbles, no ugly flipping edges or what not & things turned out great. Reggie got a quick bath & shine. Bugs & pollen were so much easier to remove on the bumper now that there's a shield. Now he's waiting for his new splash guards to arrive soon
p.s. i wanna drop it just a little to eliminate that gap...but Im kinda scared, im not the best driver...(o_O)

quick pose

first day reggie comes home with me...(camera pics always sux)

my next BIG project. 120gallon x-tra high, 5 feet aquarium

Congrats on your new G. I would lose the front license plate. Get some Eibachs or Swift if you want a small drop. I got Swift springs. I have a pix in the suspension thread if you want to check it out. Good luck on future mods and post them up when you do.

nice! if you do decide to drop it, you can go with a conservative drop like eibach. that drop is just enough to eliminate the drop but good enough for every day driving. and also, no camber kit required good luck!

Congrats and welcome! Was your G37 bought at Southwest Infiniti in Houston? That's where I bought mine if so! hahah which part of TX are ya from?

Do SWIFT Springs it's very subtle drop plus it's best springs out there IMO you won't have any problems and also if you tend to keep the stock 19's for a long while I do recommend H&R DRM 20mm spacers.

Lastly who's that chick in the pic

Reggie looks great! I'd stay away from eibach. Swift & Tanabe make great lowering springs.

I'm thinking about losing the plates, plug up the holes with bolts & then put these screw cap covers on...dont flame me. The first thing I told myself after getting Reggie...NO HELLO KITTY! WHATSOEVER!!! This we totally demote the G, but...i saw these & cant resist the mini-mod.

So Eibach vs. Swift, and I do want to get new shoes sometime in the near future, but incase i dont, what are spacers & what do they do? do they push the wheels outward a bit more from the body? I do want a subtle drop, i guess enough to tell there is a drop, yet still good height to be a daily driver. there's alot of uneven roads where I am, bumps, potholes, curves, dirt road...u name it. O, & I'm from Austin, but the austin infiniti weren't very nice & i honestly felt like they didn't want my business so I just went somewhere else. (& BTW that chick would be I sir)

You know most people here on the forum are going to be of the opinion that your fish tank is sitting too high so you may want to lower that first b4 you lower Reggie...lol
I went Eibach. They are not very expensive and will definitely make Reggie look much better. Good luck oh and my daughter loved those Hello Kitty screw cap covers. Now I have to find some for mommys car. Thanks

Nice to see a lady in a G37, so you came all the way to Houston to buy one? Yep those people from SW Infiniti are very helpful and willing to make a sell to anyone hahah.

Swift>Eibach, unless you want coilovers then that's different story, use the search button there's folks on both drops with reviews and pics for your final decision. Swifts are kinda new to the G37 so you won't find much but it's all positive reviews but they are best rated springs money can buy.

Yes correct spacers push out the wheels so it won't sit so flush into the fender once lowered but if you're buying wheels in near future then scratch that comment. Word of advice buy correct wheel offset so you don't need spacers!

There's a local club called Centxvq in Austin you may wanna checkout they can help with your local needs. Google them they have a forum or you can join ours Strictly G's we will gladly help too but we're Houston based

I had Eibach springs before D2 racing coils and they were fantastic. The drop is conservative enough that you will be able to clear pretty much anything and the ride quality is great. If you think your roads are bad.. come to Chicago lol. If you are going to get rims soon, don't bother with spacers and ask around the forum which offsets works with the rims of your choice. Good luck.

So I've been doing a little searching on the forums for springs review. Initially I was goin to drop with the Eibach PK, but then I thot twice about the roads here. Comparing a lot of pictures, Eibach seems to give about an 1 to maybe 1.2 inch drop from stock. What about Swifts? will swift drop it slightly lower compared to Eibachs? seems like theres alot of good reviews & a subtle drop wont interfere with daily driving. Doesnt sound so bad.

Lastly! I have such a hard time adjusting my chair to comfortable level. If I sit comfortably, which is pretty low, then I cant see the front end too clearly & my turns feel a bit wide bc of overjudging. But if i raise the chair up high to see clearly, then when i try to get out of the car...Im about a foot away from the ground & the dam door is too heavy it keeps on trying to shut on me! Exiting the G is such an ungraceful moment for me
