Cure for Insomniacs

It was so humid @ around 2 am I didn't get to shoot as much as I want. Some pics taken around the medical center, then I went to uptown park for a bit until my whole shirt was soaking wet with sweat.Didn't get to do creative shots since I was trying to hurry and hide from the med center 5-0's 8)

Car is dirty. Some shots OOF :Angry2: Overall I'm not feeling these pics at all

Behold the stockness!

car looks clean, just need to check your lens to avoid the glare in the photos. Nice first shots though!

I came in expecting a real cure for insomniacs. You got my hopes up. I've been deceived.

1cleanG. Yeah its been a struggle for me with the flares/glares when I do night shots. I must say that all shots were rushed and I didn't really give enough time to angle my shots better. Thanks for the heads up

Jewbag, LOL. sorry for the misleading title. I guess its catchy enough to get you looking.

Thanks ant!

Nice pics man

I assume you aren't using any kind of filter/polarizer on your lens, which is why it's causing the "flare" effect. I personally like this in night shots, but if you were to use say an ND Filter, it would minimize/eliminate the "flare".

Also your exposure time has an effect on how big the "flares" turn out. Shorter exposure = less flare/less light, then you could go back and mess with the levels in PS.

EDIT: im not a pro tho so I could be wrong lol. I've just noticed this in my experiences

Thanks Jeremy!

Ian, you gotta give me a ride to test out the KW3's man. Want to get a good feel! hehe

Gamedogg, interesting thing about the filter is that I actually believe its the other way around basing from my experience as well. I noticed that my other night shots with filters caused more chromatic aberration and glares/flares. From what I've read in the past, most people take their filters off for long exposures since the light has to pass through an extra piece of glass which causes more refractory effect on the sensor. IDK. LOL

Honestly, I don't mind the flare but I want to be able to control it in an artistic way.

I'm not a pro either )
