new spoiler design....your thoughts?
Taking the chance of cracking the CF would have been better then the result you ended up with. At least you tried. But what you had to work with wasn't very good to start with to be honest. The way that thing fits on top of the OEM where it doesn't even cover the whole OEM part along the front edge looks really bad. I can't imagine why it was ever designed that way, but it's not good.
And if it didn't crack when you cut that panel out, I'm guessing it wouldn't have cracked when you cut out a camera hole either. Presuming you used the right tools and technique.

It wasn't just the camera hole, in the OEM spoiler there are braces on the sides to connect it to the trunk and they are not made in the SIEBON so the only way to put is by using 3M tape and definetly that won't hold on for a long time..
The only thing they did put is the brackets that holds the light. I really don't like the way they made this spoiler!

So apparently the bottom line is you spent your hard earned cash on a useless poorly designed and poorly fitting POS product from Seibon. Sorry you made that mistake but is sounds like you probably learned your lesson from it. Like lots of other folks. Just don't be one of the ones that doesn't learn anything from it.

but yeah it was a mistake buying this spoiler! lol but in the end, life is all about experience
I'm going to share something I've learned over the years that has served me well: Buying cheapo quality POS car parts from POS companies always ends badly. If there's any doubt, let some other sucker spend his money to buy it first and learn from his mistake.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. Personally the red OEM lip is a better piece for your car anyway. I understand the interest in making it different and CF can be a cool mod, but in this case it didn't work out.
BB - your thoughts are that Seibon is a POS company? I thought they had a pretty decent rep. Just curious.
