looks good, but not feelin' the brake color as much as i did on the silver, would look better red to go with the seats and doesn't the malbec black have a redish purple pearl to it?

DUDE.... I totally do NOT understand why you would've made this jump! I was a HUGE fan of your old G... and i'm just completely confused why you made the big leap!

You've already swapped out the exhaust and plan on swapping rims.... so you're essentially just changing the color, front fascia, and side skirts?! (and badging of course).... I don't get it! It's like buying a bloomingdale edition and swapping out the red seats!

=( Sorry I don't mean to downplay all the excitement of you getting the new IPL... I'm definitely happy for you, and I know you'll start upgrading it tastefully... but I'm still scratching my head on what the reasoning was esp if you're going to change all the features that makes it an IPL to begin with...

Thanks man, I appreciate your honesty. But when I bought my 2008 G, I bought it used, meaning, I got what was on the lot, and couldn't pick color, options......etc.........3.5 years later, I wanted a new car with all the options.........I went with the same car with everything you mentioned plus MORE! Not just the side skirts. Why the same car, because I love it, and better yet, I didn't have to mod it, I just swapped parts. I'm thinking of switching the wheels, but that's last on my list.

quick question, I ordered the same side sills as the IPL/anniversary and I noticed they are lower than the front, I am guessing that will be the same with my 11 sport bumper. With that being said are you thinking about lowering the front a touch more to even it out? I am finally ordering coils soon and I was thinking about doing this? Any negitive effects in doing this? Thanks

 

i actually worry more about the wheel well gap, than how the front bumper sits. I never thought of this, but I guess I will worry about it tomorrow when I finish lowering it.

Finally saw this today and all I gotta say is WOW! Good choice man, the new Malbec Black color is awesome compared to Black Obsidian. It has flakes of purple in the sun light which tie in the BBK perfectly.

To all those who don't understand why Raul got another G.. Just ask other members who have done the same. I personally plan on doing it too once some more '09 & '10 models become available used with navi and 6mt. Just swap over my same parts, maybe change a few things here or there and continue where I left off. The G is an awesome car, why fix **** if it's not broken!
