Here's my tease, project v1 and v2.
very nice! does the e550 driver anything like the e350? we're looking into purchasing the e550, but the dealer only had an e350 the day of. it was extremely under-powered and swaggered like a boat! hoping the e550 isn't anything alike (comes with adjustable suspension and supposedly a more aggressive driving stature, says our MB salesman). have FUN!

Congrats man, those are the 2 cars i had to choose before i end up with my G. Didn't like t the shape of the E coupe too much, and i know if i tend to mod, the G will be more of a fun car to mod, so i went with the G. Maybe when i am 35-40 yrs of age, i'll go with benz, but for now i think i would suit the G more. Congratz though.

I was looking for a bigger platform to start from, and tq for almost a year I've been thinking about getting the 5.0 Stang but the 550 offered more luxury.

I feel you, I was the SAME was until I was introduced to modified E55 AMG Sedan's that murders everything on the track! I never got one because I'm not into sedans yet, but once the coupe came out I figured i'd try it out, hopefully with a power adder it can keep up with modded AMG's I'm $$$ away from that but we'll see..... but as for me I have no idea what I'd want at 35-40 that's over a decade from now for me, who knows what will be out then .
