Raul G Custom Headlight Project Teaser

I had this crazy idea to change out the fog light for another projector beam. This is still a work in progress, meaning I still have to paint and make adjustments.

So far I think it looks pretty good. Let me know what you think!

Here are some pictures I took for a preliminary fitment.

That would be sweet if you could actually get them aimed correctly. The only problem i see is that the cut off line on the projector would make it hard to really throw light out since its not mounted low in the bumper. My last car i had retrofitted hid projectors into my halogen housing and was also running hid projectors for my fog lights too, but they were mounted in the lower bumper. Needless to say the light output was tremendous but seeing as the projector fogs were mounted low it was never blinding towards oncoming traffic.

Awesome Raul!! Love to see you made another thread, always makes my day. But this is more of a teaser! haha BTW, you should check out finagle69's ride. He did that and i believe he uses the TSX lens or something i have his picture build, but i can't seem to find his thread for you. What i found are his awesome rolling shots:

Check that out man. I think finagle69 has one of the cleanest looking ride. He even has the retractable plate! I want that mod! haha
Tell us more on what you're planning for this mod man. Can't wait on how they turn out.

subscribed. keep me updated.

Hey Raul. I just started get interest into headlight modding. I wanna start of with simple ones tho.
Q1: You know Europe has clear side markers? Is there anyway you can make it like that into that color?

I am gonna buy the Clear Sidemarker OEM part in Korea (Korea has clear sidemarker too). I am gonna try to replace that with the amber one.

Question 2: If I replace amber one with the clear ones, do I need to change the bulb inside to still make it look like yellow in color? I still want the amber lights (with clearside marker), but I was wondering.. Those lights are amber, because of amber sidemarkers, or because the bulbs emits amber color.

The bulb is actually clear, so you would have to switch to a color bulb.

I don't know what the euro version of the strip is, but I believe them to be amber as well, I know you can buy that clear material at Home Depot and just cut it into that shape.

Hope that helps.

I. Love. This.

I have always thought our headlights should come with quads instead of the weird fog light built in. And the city light? Forget about it.
