But in all seriousness, I don't have a clear bra and I had to drive 500 miles through salty roads so I needed some protection. I have no idea what Infiniti was thinking when they made a bra that leaves some of the most vulnerable parts of the car exposed. The upper bumper and front of the hood should have been covered too, but I guess its better than nothing and for 85 dollars it wasn't a bad investment.

Nothing is taped, this is a factory accessory available from your Infiniti dealership. It is leather with pre cut holes for vents. From an angle you can see the vents inside the cutouts.

I didn't get my car clear bra'd when I first got it so it's kind of late to clear bra it now since it would be on top of so many imperfections. Not to mention the dealer wanted 800 dollars . I paid 85, I use it for road trips and I don't really care if it's ugly as a turd because my car is covered in salt and slush any way.

 

Nope, reflections of an overcast sky + salt and road grime.
