I just noticed that even if you turn off the power the lights still remain very very lightly.. is that normal? I'm worried about battery running out..

That looks nice. I have my license plate light done and there is certainly a significant difference... I may look into the interior lights, as well.

Yeah, they do stay lit slightly.

IDK if there's a correlation but I had to change my battery earlier this year. I've had the LED's for about 14 months prior to that. hmmmmm.

I would like to do LEDs for my license plate. Our IS350 has them and it looks good at night...

Normal. LEDs are a smaller load with less resistance than filament bulbs. So at the same terminal, they are able to be lit with a very small current running through there. Don't think you have to worry about the battery. I have the same thing and mine is ok, even with it parked for 7-10 days at at time without driving. You might be able to fix it by beefing up the grounding. Not sure where though.

Anyway, looks good!

I like the white LEDs but the OEM bulbs illuminate better. Still I go for the LEDs

Mine glow too, no issues yet and the car has sat for a week at a time on more than one occasion.

thats normal. Actually, the lights will completely shut off (meaning no dimming light) when the car has been off and doors closed after about 30mins.
