Debadged + lights [LOTTAPIX
For stickers and debadging, use a heat gun to soften up the glue then 90% isopropyl alcohol to rub the residue off. Be sure to use a very plush MF cloth so as not to leave scratches and it will require some rubbing. Everything will come right off. Took me less than 10 minutes to get the "G37S" badge off.

I think you're right. I have to drop by this week to pick up my plate. I will ask them to take it off so I don't screw up anything.

Scratch the hell out of your paint and do a poor job of trying to "fix" it so that you may have to spend a lot of time correcting or take it to a professional detailer. Or you'll have to bitch until they repaint your trunk lid, but then it will still be a refinish and not original paint. I doubt they will use a professional detailer or paint/body tech to do it, they will tell a porter "Scrape that sticker off of this car". I'm not saying all dealerships would do this or that yours will, but I wouldn't take that chance with my car. Do it yourself or take it to a real professional detailer and pay them. It shouldn't cost that much. Let us know how it turns out, good or bad.

Maybe I'll try the sticker myself after I get my bug and tar remover.
Also I am now all excited to try that no rinse washer Black Jack has recommended. Big jug on the way.
She's going to look purdy!
