yea its my buddy's, I'm looking at canon's SLRs right now, I want to buy one soon, but still undecided! Plus I don't wanna spend too much...which one are you leaning towards?

ppl are mostly recommending the low end rebel or nikon d40/d40x since i really dont know a single thing, how about yourself?

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend, for about $700 I like the Canon XSi, and Nikon D5000 for $850...Ill probably get the Canon XSi since I was aiming to spend about $600, I'm only using this for fun, not professionally...I worked at apple previously and a lot of people used these models and no complaints, or you could go for the D90 my friend used for these shots, 1200+ haha.

the Canon XS Rebel (10 megapix) is only about $549 so great value there.

thanks, the side profile is my wallpaper on my blackberry and desktop, its my fav but ppl seem to like the first, rear shot!
