For me it's not about people knowing what I'm driving. The Infiniti badge is still there, I just think having "Infiniti" written out and the "g37" part is just too much on the back, it's too busy and too much chrome.

I also like the normal tailights. Especially on a black car.

Thanks for the comments on my car guys!

it doesn't look retartded... many people here have de-badged their cars...
It looks much cleaner without it than when it has all that chrome sticking out everywhere, and names and stuff.

Though... since I have a sedan, everyone thinks its a 35, so to balance out the "S" on the right side, I am thinking of putting JUST the "37" on the left side.

Oh, and Kwang, thanks for the compliment on my house.

and Da Mayor, thanks! I got the car in April though, so its not brand new

I like what you did to the grill... you should do a write-up.

Congrats on the car!

I wish my parents would buy me a car that's worth more than 5k =/ . anyways I like your grill, and yea having a sedan will come in handy some day. IMO I dont like the idea of de badging cars but yea if you do it, take the S off too cuz its kinda out of place. other than that , Congrats =)

I would either leave all the badges on or take it all off (except leaving the Mt. Fuji). As of right now it looks like a Corolla S though.

lol...i get that all the time...that it is a g35 sedan...lol IMO it looks cleaner taking off the badges...i was afraid taking the S off....but now i dont care because i upgraded the brakes/suspension of the car....and def. a + for a 16yr old. wished my parents even bought me a car had to get mine on my own.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!!

g37mobbin: ya, I debaged since it looks cleaner, but I am thinking of putting the "37" back on, but put it on the left side, to balance out the "S" on the right. Or... I may just take the "S" off and just leave the Infiniti emblem there.

And it looks nothing like a Corolla S... no matter what... especially because of the Infiniti sign and the clear different between the two cars

Oh and efuseakay: what do you mean by a "write up"

Step-by-step instructions on how you painted the grill... materials used, etc...

I actually like that look, keeping the chrome strips on the top and bottom.

Oh. I actually didn't do it myself. I had it done at Mulholland Motorsport here in Los Angeles.
Glad you like the look though! I thought having the outer trim black also would be too much black, I like how it looks with the trim and emblem chrome.

thanks for the comments and the congrats.

I know that sometime the sedan will come in handy. I love it though, the coupe may look sportier, but my sedan still kicks a** as a first car. And it was perfect for the family(Since my mom has a BIG SUV, and my dad has a 2-seater sports car...)

Ahhh, gotcha! About how much did they charge? I really do love the contrast!
