Mercedes is well known for lack of problems. Unlike BMWs that are always having problems.

All she wanted was a convertible that looked good, was quick and reliable. She really wanted the G37 convertible but I did not want to spend that much. It really came down to the SLK or Mini cooper convertible, I think the SLK is the better choice. She really doesnt need 400 hp or 200 mph capability. It can do 70 mph and carry shopping bags, she is happy.
Oh sorry!
that makes sense than. But, isn't the SLK more expensive than the G37 convertible, or did you buy it used?
I always thought the SLK(even the 280) was priced higher than even the G convertible.

I gotta say, the SL is a crazy car though, but more of a guys car.

New the SLK is much more money than the G37, but I found her a 06 with only 30k miles on it for 20k

ohh ok, nice! thats perfect than, haha!
The hardtop is nice though, and its a good sporty, little car.
the only complaint I've heard about it, is how small the interior space is.

I hate riding in the car with her. But she is only 5'10, not 6'2, so it is perfect.
