Not yet, but it's pretty much going to look like KidCanes lights except with an amber strip



You should at least do an IP projector shroud.

 

do you drill through the plastic shroud also? looks like you're also using 8mm's

 

I mentioned in my last PM if you could use the Amber Side Strip and possibly tint it. Can they not be tinted? Or will they be just Amber? I'm going with PIAA 6600K HID D2S bulbs and V-Leds for everything else. I know you guys really tried to talk me out of the Amber Side Strip but I want the lights to be custom but have full functionality and street legal. Cops in my area are ******. And, my G is Moonlight White, not Ivory pearl.

We don't use the type of LED's you're assuming. Most companies like CinCity, & ClearCorners use the typical non automotive LED's that come in sizes such as 3mm, 5mm, 8mm and 10mm, those LED's look like this:



Our LED's are full on automotive, same LED's that Audi uses in their headlights, and same LED's that MB uses in their turn signal mirrors. They are called Piranha LED's, they come in 3mm and 5mm, we use 5mm.

 

good stuff man, i was looking at those leds at first but i don't think i could make it fit into the plastic shroud and plus wiring it is another challenge. keep up the good work . i'm done with modding lights lol.

 

You could probably spray tint the amber marker like you would tailights.

 

Can you do clear rear lenses? Is that legal?
