Well, the curse has struck my car again. Some of you might remember I hit a raccoon ($1700 in damage), had a girl roll into the back of my car at a stop light (minor scratch), had the wind catch my drivers side door and slam it into a concrete wall ($950 in damage), and yesterday afternoon the worst happened.

I had just gotten off of work at 5:30pm and was on the way to pick up a friend at her work. I was on a two lane street and all of a sudden a car three cars ahead of me suddenly stopped to make a turn without a signal which caused the two cars in front of me to slam on their brakes. At that same time I had been looking in my rear view mirror and when I noticed the cars stopping in front of me it was too late. I hit the car in front of me pretty hard and pushed them into the car in front of them. In the end my car is really messed up and I got a citation for careless driving.

Since I am from such a small town, I ended up knowing the people I hit.

Same thing happened to me a few years back, not in my G though. Officer was cool enough to not cite me.

man Im guessing its total since the airbag deploy so if it is then hopefully you get a new car thats not curse or hopefully its fix soon so ya can be back on the road.

By the way its not that your car is curse. All Non S bumpers are curse, why you think i changed my bumper hahaha. I was hit twice in a parking lot while i was shopping with it.

 

Dang dude, sorry to hear. i hope you got away with little to no injuries, that looks bad. did they say if it was totalled or not? Seeing as how the airbags blew.

I hate people who tailgate me; when they do, I leave extra room in front of me so I don't have to make a sudden stop. I never know if the stupid tailgater will be able to stop as fast as me if I stop abruptly. I feel sorry for the people you hit, although IMO, they are also at fault for following too closely.

What's up with all the 'tards that think that nearly every airbag deployment means the car is totaled??

i don't think it's totaled........Terrible's car was hit in the front like urs & his was not totaled either.
