Well, yesterday I went to subway with a couple of my friends around 10 at night to eat before we went to a party. We were eating, cracking jokes, having a good time. My friend that was facing the window sees this truck backing up and yells to me dude he hit ur car!!! So we went running outside and the guy took off burning rubber in the parking lot! It was an old body style black silverado. We couldn't get his tag in time so we chased him in my car and his truck; we split up. THE GUY DISAPPEARED, literally. We had no idea where he went. IDK, how people can just leave the scene like that. WTF?!! I was heated as hell and my adrenaline was pumping. I'm honestly glad that we didn't catch the guy because at that moment i was extremely pissed and probably would've strangled the guy. I got so pissed that when i saw the damage I punched my fender, and the dent u see above the big one is from my fist I wasn't thinking at the moment and really didn't care. That sucks. It makes my hear ache that someone would be such a jerk. Sorry about your loss, but take it easy. I bet your hand is in serious pain today.

I work at a hospital and I've heard many stories of my coworkers cars being hit while parked. IDK why but my guess is, it's the number of elderly/handicap drivers that frequent the hospital.
I get paranoid about where I park, all the time.

Ouch! Sucks this happened. I wish you a speedy recovery. I know what you mean about the temporary insanity piece. Happened to me once or twice!

 

On a side note.... this is another reason why I purposely park WAAAYY outta' the way when going to restaurants and clubs.... I dont mind walking if it means avoiding stuff like this and door dings....

Damn man Im sorry to hear that. I got backed into by a ****ing 18 wheeler yesterday on my block. He gets out of the car and asked me why I didnt beep? I called the cops, and then the cops came and all of a sudden hes telling the cops I rear ended him. ****ing joke... My damage is almost identical.

Did you go back and see if any of the stores have video surveillance that may have recorded it? Slim chance of getting a plate#, but worth a shot.

 

my fist is alright it doesn't hurt too much. and thanks for all the comments guys. i'm positive that the guy lives in my area because he was with his kid and it was at 10:30 at night. No one drives too far to pick up subway. i'm on the lookout for a black silverado.

i took off the pinstripe because his tire scuffed up my rim, but luckily all the marks came off, and the rims looks perfect, not even one blemish.

i'm seriously thinking about getting rid of the G after it gets fixed. this is the second time i've been hit in the span of 3 months, and i've gotten 4 tickets in it in the past month. so my luck with the car hasn't been too great. i know that it seems crazy to get rid of it, but honestly i'm not enjoying it anymore. i was looking at maybe leasing an is350 or purchasing a base 370Z 6mt with sport, but idk what's going to happen yet.

also, they have a ton of surveillance cameras in the shopping center, and we asked the cop how we can get the video. he told me that the owner most likely won't release that because no one was hurt, which is BS! a hit and run is a crime!!! also, we asked the owner of subway how we can get the video and he told me they wouldn't give it to me because they got robbed at gun point, and the owner didn't release the video to them which is insane! i'll keep u guys posted on how the whole situation goes.
