So my car went on a diet...

Nice job getting the overspray on your entire patio... a few times. Attention to detail yet again. I'm sure you don't care because "who is gonna see it" and it's probably a rental so f*ck the landlord too.
I feel a Ron White quote coming...
"You just can't fix Stupid"

Damn, You dont even have a garage to do this in! Crazy to leave your G out like that! Wait.......where do you live exactly in Jax. Those condo's look frightingly familiar......like where my rent house is.......Do you have townhomes in the same complex?
Just an idea, but did you consider spraying with Evercoat SlickSand? Its a high build primer that removes the grain in plastic interior panels and fills in the pits, making a smooth surface after you sand. You then can base coat clear coat paint and the interior will look like a painted metal surface. I've done many interiors and this is by far produces the best looking interior. I did the interior of my old Civic several years ago and it was a shop stopper. Before you haters comment on this... I did all the work myself, I was 23 at that time, this car had several sponsors, was in magazines, and trailered.
IMO.. This is how you should do a G37 interior, maybe not this wild of colors, but this method of slick sand, base coat clear coat.
