New Coupe coming from Infiniti - Essence

I'll try one more time then I'll leave it alone because it won't be the first time my explanations left people confused.
You guys are getting caught up in a car that probably won't exist. Infinti already said they are not building the Essence. It is a design and engineering direction that will be "applied" to their future lineup. The article states the M is the first car that will benefit but I personally think the FX already looks like a crossover version of the Essence. That's all I'm saying.
If any of you think they look alike and the FX does not look good then why be confident any 4 door sedan based on this concept would come out good.
I'm not worried about the essence itself because I doubt I can afford it even if they build it. I'm worried about the cars I can buy like the G or the M that will benefit from this design direction.

Infiniti currently has no cars to compete against the BMW M, Mercedes AMG or Audi S and RS line. They will need a high performance luxury sport coupe (and maybe sedan) if they hope to be taken seriously and compete effectively against their German counterpart.
At the end of the day, if infiniti built a G37 look alike with a TT engine producing upwards of 410 HP, I've got a nice down payment ready for them
