Ok, I don't know if this will help at all but at least I'm trying. Remember those fake vents I bought for Her car that you thought was a bad idea (or at least didn't agree with)? Well, I took a quick picture or two on my way out the door before I came to work tonight. The pictures are poor quality due to the camera phone but will give you an idea of what they look like off the car. With your bumper cover already off this shouldn't be all that hard but that's coming from a guy who hasn't done this before.
It looks like the best way would be to start unbolting things, the two brackets and then the one perpendicular tab. It might even help if you take those brackets off completely by removing the three screws from each one.
Then the four tabs are all that's left. They are pretty flexable off the bumper cover but if the slots that slide into them are thick, I can see that being a pain.
Unless there is something else on the car I don't know of, that looks to be it.
