Very nice. I own a brietling myself, I love it. Actually went to go look at a few 6.75 the other day. I might end up biting.

Not exactly. Car pic taken in my garage, NYC pic taken standing in front of Radio City. Then you just put one over the other. I could actually have done a better job on it.

Yep, Master Perpetual. One little button controls, year, month, date, day, moonphase. Quite a remarkable watch and my favorite.

Great watch! I don't have any JLC's but have always admired them. There are certainly a few I wouldn't mind having. The whole watch thing can get to be a bad habit too. I need cheaper habits like drugs or alcohol or somethng. Cars, watches and photography are just too darned expensive!

Yeah, cheaper habits for sure. My wife is always on me about the watches:

Nice Daytona. I've also got a Sub and GMT Master II. They make great travel watches as they can take just about anything and not be any worse for the wear. They aren't too heavy or large. My Panerai's are a bit too large at least to take to Europe for 2 weeks as my sole watch. No big deal for a trip to NYC though.

I don't take any nice watch out of the country. I always would get stopped and asked about them. The sub is a great watch also, but for my wrist the stem would dig into me when I was working on something. The Daytona design is different enough that this is not a problem. The JLC is locked up most of the time as it's not really very rugged.

My friend has been stopped and the first few times I brought a copy of my receipt just in case, but I've never had a problem going through customs and have never felt unsafe with it overseas.

You could get the GMT Master II. It has a little baby crown. I'm wearing mine right now.

That is a nice piece and I miss not having the date like the Sub had also. That crown is way better. My nephew has one of those and I'm going to see him next week on a short ski trip and I'll ask him if I can "borrow" it for a day or so for a test drive.

My Daytona is one of the last with the Zenith movement and it keeps very good time. For all the JLC is the Daytona is a better time-keeper.

That's a very cool watch. Does the case hold up ok with that broad face like that? It has a little night light also?
