Thanks.... Yea its an overlay... They shave a little off of the face of the wheel, lay on the CF, and then mold onto the wheel... Not at all removable....

 

I would be more worried about it coming off over time from excessive heating and cooling. what do they use to bond the cf on the wheel face?

 

Yea I kno... I brought it up the whole heating/cooling issue to them too because I was a lil worried about it... They said that they haven't had any issues when it comes to the CF coming off, but that if it ever did, they would replace it at no cost... Not sure what they use to bond it... Thats a good question to ask them next time I talk to them tho...

 

ya, as long as they are using some bonding agent that is heat resistant there should be no issues.
