How come chris's ironman mod looks so much brighter than everyone elses? Using different connections? or led bulbs?

hes the only one without painted headlights..led's reflect a lot more on a chrome housing

Is the light housing all enclosed? How is it taken apart to paint the back area? I'm looking to paint mine black as it reminds me of my 08Z06 that I had and I like the all one color light housing.
