This is because the camera software works with frames....for instance, there are 6 frames on that picture. From top to bottom: first row is a frame, second row has 2 frames (side by side), third row has 2 more frames (side by side again, and the fourth and last row has 1 frame. Now, if you flip the frames for rows 2 and 3, you get the full picture again
