Vinny, I got the pic from Matt. Reason it looks off is because I designed the kit so its about 1/8th to 1/4th of an inch from the rear splash guard. He tried to line it up so it comes flush with the splash guard.

It shouldn't have to be trimmed really. My installer's done tons of these with no issues. But your right, I do leave room so you can postion the overlay around. I think what some of you think is that the kit is supposed to go all the way to the splash guard, but its not. I've sold quite a few of these with very liitle concern if any about this issue.

Here's a closeup:

ok, Vinny, just got off the phone with Matt, my installer out in NY. If you look at the close pic I just posted, you see that the overlay follows the groove on top, yet the groove does not mtach up with the rear splash guard! He thought the overlay was supposed was supposed to meet up with the rear splash guard. Regardless, I'm shipping another piece to him this weekend . Hope that clears everything up for everyone .

+1 for Bat's customer service! Just got off the phone with him. So apparently the valence for the G37 isn't designed to meet up with the splash due to the groove. He's sending a replacement.

ok cool, thanks everyone for their help. Some of bats valance look really flush thats where i was torn. Looking at these pics really made mine look off, even when you look at mine and look at others.

Once the replacement is in im pretty sure everything is going to look great, just like my roof.

Thanks to bat, matt and those who posted pics.. ADMIN can lock it
