Tanabe's axle back installed (and more)
Went up to Amplified Motorsports here in so cal to get the Greddy Ti-C (or at least that was the plan) but ended up going with the Tanabe instead for a few reasons. I wanted the clean look that still preserved the original feel/class of the G37. Greddy would make it more aggressive, which is nice, but not what I really wanted. Thanks to The1andOnly for letting me get a taste of the Greddy from in-cabin and Lou from Amplified with the Tanabe. After hearing both from inside and outside the car, I chose the Tanabe. To me, it sounded deeper and had more of a growl. It had a very well-composed note that I think flows together with the style of the G37 seamlessly. At constant speed cruising, the exhaust is barely noticeable. But as soon as you accelerate at any rate, it'll put a smile on your face (which is also the reason why my mileage has gone to crap
). At mid-range to higher rpms, you can really hear it roar. I love the way it looks, fits, and identifies with our cars. Tanabe is perfect if you want to keep the luxury but get a more throatier and audible exhaust.
It was nice hanging out at Lou's and Paul's shop. The owner of JI-C magic came in and took one of Lou's guys for a ride on Amp's Evo9 track car, fixed up to the max. I can't imagine what it was like boosting down a 40 degree hill

After:

The1andOnly trying on Amplified's Phantom Exhaust

But he ultimately decided on Greddy's new quad exhaust

That's when gmlee86 came in complaining about sitting too low and rubbing so we raised it up a bit for him:
