reason is first off this car is much much heavier. second reason would be that these rates are for G35 and so by cutting them it makes it less stable. I would be cautious. For the amount you got the car for shelling outa few extra for the right product shouldn't be an issue. Just be careful. I know i would be very scared.

its amethyst graphite i believe... and yea cutting springs is very bad.. you might have to eat the cost and buy H techs or something... maybe H&Rs if you want to go reallyy low

okay well im not sure how much exactly he cut off but he did what i asked to make me happy. the ride is not horrid what so ever. when i had the teins on no cut spring it still was stiff. like i stated before it is not a track car, it is mainly for looks. decreasing handling doesnt bother me so much. Im pretty sure most of you guys dont track these cars so basically you're in for the looks also.

i know everyone has heard stories about cutting springs makes them bouncy blah blah but i drive the car daily and it rides just perfect. ive read threads and threads about different cars cutting oem springs for looks and street/drag cars to stiffen the springs for launch. so i trust him with this decision and plus the drop makes me happy

Anyway thanks everyone for the kind words

Theres a few that will track... but not many... your right there... but ALOT of us go on spirited rides.... ex. west coast guys call theres caynon runs and Us East Coast guys call them mountain runs...

Im not judging you in no way... I have just heard of suspension popping off or breaking... I just want to make sure you know that there could be a risk...
Saftey first!!

and I would guess your factory Struts will wear out supa fast...

BC coilovers would make you have a great ride, better handleing, and SLAMMED as low as you want... pretty good deal for those!

But in the end ... if your happy thats all that matters...

What other plans do you have for the car?
