Thoughts on XXR 522s for the vert

So I'm thinking pros.
1. inexpensive. i mean really inexpensive
2. available in 19s
3. red and gold match
4. looks good looking straight from the side

cons.
1. inexpensive. Do I get what I pay for all the time?
2. may look bulged out from certain angles.
3. may not match up well with the red and black theme. I'm not looking to do black rims in any case. Either machined black or bronze/gold.

I saw this in person on a 1st gen G35 and 2nd gen G35 sedan at the last vqfrenzy meet and they don't look bad at all.

Do you think I should go for it on the vert? The vertini magic is not available in 19s yet so I either wait it out or get these.

This is how they look on a coupe.

and shopped on the vert

Have you looked into Forgestar wheels?

not so much. I've seen the f14s close up, but I would not want to get them.

ForgeStar definitely has some great choices.

I think these look pretty sweet though. If you are aching to get some rims, go for it. You can always sell them.

I think they look good, but I would go with the vertini magic in gold over those. But your car would lok great with either one.
Is there a reason why you want to stay with 19"?
If you do decide to look into Forgestar let me know, I may be able to help you out

I'm not feeling these to be honest. Maybe a little more on a black coupe, not so much on a red vert. To me the vert is more of a grand touring car and these wheels seem too sporty for it.

What didn't you like about the forgestars? Simply the look or was it build quality?

I don't know... Kinda makes a sexy car like yours look cheap in a way... The gold is sick on a black coupe but gold and red... Doesn't go good together.

No problem with Gold on Red but it'll turn the car into a sporty car, thus kinda de-value the status of your vert.

XXR's are good wheels for the money. The 522's look good IMO.

There's a black G37 with the gold ones on.... I've seen pics of it here and it looks great. (look for the Autokits-X group photoshoot in the coupe picture share thread)

I think the VR + black + gold would look good. You have SRG that can take care of the photoshop for visual confirmation.

The Vertini Magic's look good too. But I think you gotta go with 20's with those.

Yeah, but technically these would be interim wheels.I guess I should wait for what I really want.

Thanks for the feedback. 19s because the rds are not that great, I drive like I stole it, and with the negative camber if I hit a hole its more likely to bend the inner barrel.

Nothing wrong with forgestars, just not feeling all the styles to not get bored.
The sporty feedback is a good point. Thanks.

Yeah, your the second to mention that and I do see that as something to consider.

The gold rims really offset the black car.
