Accident: Need to find a good autobody shop

Sorry if this is the wrong section. Someone rear ended my car while it was parked. The other party admitted fault and insurance said they will take care of the repairs. Their insurance carrier is Geico. Anyone had experience with them? They set me up with an appointment at a 3 star body shop that has average reviews. Is there anyway we can search for infiniti certified repair shops, specifically in the Norcal area?

I know when I got in an accident last year, the insurance company said I could go anywhere. The only catch is a "non-partner" repair facility would increase the repair time, since insurance adjusters would have to see the car prior to repair.

I used Yelp and Angie's List to find the body shop I used in Chicago.

Went to the 3 shops with the best reviews, got estimates and looked around their shops. One of the shops was filthy and disorganized, including the office. Ended up using the cleanest one with the friendliest staff and their price was midway between the other 2.

I did that with a Honda and got burned. Sure it looks great but when the paint starts peeling off two years later... Goals of fixing cars to move them off a lot cheap versus owning one long term are not the same. I learned my lesson.

I second the use of Angie's list. We found a good body shop in our area that several family members have used.

If you aren’t satisfied with the body shop they provided, ask them for another one. I haven’t had much experience with Geico but with the AARP automobile insurance, customer service agents are really helpful.

I have geico. I had cars fixed with three accidents. The repairs were first class and the customer service was excellent. I used word of mouth to find the repair shops and wasn't disappointed.

TNT autobody in Sacramento! Check the g35 driver forums, very highly recommended. He worked on my car, had the rear bumper replaced and repainted.
