we only do occasional meets here lol. that's due to our local guys being shy for some reason.

Saturday nights. Starbucks on Gellert. Mainly Scion.

I'm sure you can hit up either if you ask. I know an evo guy who goes to almost every meet. (ClubRSX, subaru, etc)

it's too bad that Brian is gone. Beshoff infiniti will never be the same.

I have been to Beshoff like twice ever since Brian was gone. The last time I was there was probably last Nov/Dec lol

I think Troy once told me that one of the owners son's was unhappy or something with Brian because of all the community stuff he did, so he told his dad to move Brian to a different dealership or something.

Who ever made the decision for Brian to leave, was a dumb one.

okay to put things into simple context, the boss was unhappy that Brian was getting into all these modified scene and meets and aftermarket support and what not. Why? Because they ain't making money. But fact is Brian was doing amazing with drawing the crowd and spreading the good word and building up the reputation and keeping everyone happy.

Apparently it wasn't enough, I guess again to the money issue. To keep the story short and get straight to point, Brian was "demoted" like what you say, he was put into a position to "oversee" both Beshoff Mercedes and Beshoff Infiniti (correct me if I'm wrong). And the boss got a new GM to replace Brian's position.

Brian was Beshoff Infiniti GM, no longer he is now. His pride was hurt, after all the things he did to build up Beshoff Infiniti, he decided to leave. "Forced to leave" in other words. IMO Beshoff Infiniti's success/reputation is totally accredited to Brian.

The funny thing is, someone working in the dealership said that the new GM (some indian dude) brought his own crew in, haven't sold a single car in the entire month (that was last year). Things haven't been any better, perhaps worse. And from my same source, a customer bought a car from the GM, the customer came back to the dealership for some service, the GM walks past the customer and didn't even looked at him, like he didn't recognize his own customer or something. I guess the boss got the kind of GM he was looking for, the kind that only cares about money.

Well I don't care and I don't know if there are any truth to the things I said but I know that no one goes there anymore so yeah.. hope this clear things up. The last few times I went there, yeah the place felt so unwelcome, when Brian was there he was the most down-to-earth guy you will meet. Even though he was the GM, he would greet everyone, remembers you, remembers all the issues you had with your car and what not..

I heard a lot other things about the new management.. but honestly I can't be bothered. Bottom line is, it has become just another dealership.

Last time I was there, Brian himself was walking around with a camera asking customers to take pics of their cars.

What other GM does that?

What a **** move by the boss.

By the way, has anyone checked Brian's profile here on MyG37? His last activity was April 3, 2011, so does he still linger around?

yes it was unfortunate to lose him here as we lost an entire communtity. Most of what xlack said was true with a few extnesions here and there. Beshoff will never be the same as I am few here who is trying to bring back the old ways. The issue with Brian was a sales aspect unfortunately but the way it was handled IMO was not proper. I try to keep it from being just another dealership on my side of things in Sales but being a slaes person I can only do so much.
