Stillen Front License Plate Bracket

Anybody have one I can borrow? Got pulled over last month. I'll pick it up and return it after the car gets inspected.

Thanks!

it does stick out a little but hey if that'll solve the problem around here i don't mind. i'd rather have it stick out then having have to drill holes through my bumper

man, where the hell you've been? are you back from taiwan yet? everybody's wondering when you'll be back including me of course. give me a call when you can.

the license plates is cool. won't have to worry about getting them no front plate tickets now. i think it fit's alright, the only thing is it looks a little weird is when you're standing on the side of the car and see this thing sticking out of your front bumper. overall i like it! glad i picked one up.

thanks to kris@machiii for that.

That may not always work. Cops can say that they are unstable. Here's what I did when I got a ticket...I have an aftermarket bumper on my 35 so there are no mounting holes. I didn't want to drill into the bumper even if it was not going to be noticeable.

I went to home depot and got either 2" or 2.5" L brackets. Basically screwed the license plate to one side and double sided tape to the bumper where the center vent is on the other. To make it a little tricky for the inspecting officer I super glued the tip of some screws on the side where it's double sided to make it look like it was mounted.

I literally parked next to the CHP station, and applied the double sided tape and walked in the office. THey gave it a nice pull and nothing..if they were gonna pull too hard i was going to say dont do it too hard otherwise it will crack because the bumper is fiberglass . It worked and after they left I took it off and drove off. Cost under $5 to fix.
