It will last longer than a regular rubber hose. It won't make any difference in your cooling ability. They do look cool. There are several vendors for silicone hoses, all are somewhat overpriced. But when you buy them from Z1, HPS, or Samco you have an idea of the quality you are getting (which is good), the no name ones on ebay might be every bit as good or possibly complete garbage.

Looks like they're between $40-60 cheaper than name brand hoses. At best, you'll save $40-60. At worst, it'll burst under operation and leave you stranded with sweet smelling coolant everywhere. That means a tow plus you're gonna spend the cash to get name brand hoses.

"Explode" might be a strong word, but burst spraying hot coolant everywhere under your hood? Oh hell yes. Been there, done that (not on this car thankfully). No matter what hoses you get, what's just as important IMO is to use T-bolt clamps instead of worm drive clamps. More expensive, but much better. And don't over tighten them.

If not better than a branded one, it's definitly better than oem rubber one.
Silicone is a silicone at the end of the day, unless a branded one uses a different material from space then it's ok.

Fitment on that stuff cud be crap tho

It's more than "just silicon." It's like saying rubber is just rubber and you can get any tire. It's part quality of materials, part construction, part fitment; all of that goes into what makes one product better than another.

If it does burst or leak you will likely have to replace your serpentine belt due to slipping, and possibly other components as well. Definitely more expensive than whatever you save by going "no name".
