Also, for those in the area. I'm worried about dealerships being **** about mods done to the car and voiding warranty. If you have mods, what dealership do you go to? I go to Infiniti of Ardmore but I don't know if they are mod friendly or not.

Yep - I had the 18" resonators and I enjoy this size cause I can have conversations in the cabin. At WOT, you'll hear the difference and 12" are definitely louder. Other than that, I couldn't hear too much of a difference at cruising speeds.

I sat in someone else's car in the rear seat who had 12" resonators and at WOT, which was a bit much for me. Ambient temperatures also play a role in how loud an exhaust is. Colder it is, louder it will get.

It's personal preference.

As for dealerships, give them a call. They are all different. You could also just go and have a discussion and gauge it from there.

I go to infiniti of west Chester 3x year for lifetime oil changes, and also for state inspections. Never had a problem with them. Actually, got complimented once or twice.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie with a g37x as of 2 months ago in the West Chester area. Been doing a lot of lurking and reading. I wish I would have been able to go to the meetup that was up here in Pa but that was a no go for me. Another meetup this summer would be great. Glad to here the WC dealership is ok because I asked about intake and exhaust on my last oil change and she just told me to watch out with aftermarket remote starters (just glossed over my question so I thought they would not want to deal with that stuff). I would love to hear some of the exhaust options. I think I know what I want from some videos I've seen but a live sound would help a lot.

I'll be moving back to the Allentown area after I get out of the military and I'm gunna wanna get into the car scene out there. So far I have Stillen Gen 3 intakes, MD art pipes, megan racing y-pipe, topspeed exhaust, stage 2 clutch/lightened flywheel, hotchks sway bars, b&m short shift kit/tomei shift ****, tein s-tech springs and I'm rocking 350z wheels for the time being...Can't wait to move home and get the cars together!

For those of you in the area that would like to meet up, refer to the Northeast forum under the Regional forums. I will create a thread in there for us.

I bought my car at Willow Grove but the service department there is horrible so I take my car to Ardmore for service. No mods yet however. It doesn't seem to me that either of those dealers would be mod friendly though.

Yea I take my car to Ardmore for service as well, they are pretty good no complaints here besides when they gave me a G25 as a loaner car one day. I got on the Turnpike and tried gunning it as soon as I got on and it couldn't get up and going for ****. Then when I got to where I was going and looked it was a G25, that would explain everything.

Ardmore doesn't seem like they would be mod friendly at all which kinda sucks because I want to do stuff but my luck if something went wrong they would blame it on the mod and I'm not mechanically inclined enough to be able to refute their diagnosis with an educated answer. So for now I'm just doing interior and audio mods like Sub/Amp install. When my warranty is up ill probably start doing some performance mods.

Question for everyone in the area, anyone know of a good detailing shop to go to? I don't trust myself doing it and I'm looking to get my car detailed soon.

Agreed.
F@cking ******.

As far as mods, and with all due respect to my fellow Infiniti owners, I recommend you all leave your cars bone stock.
Especially with the failures that 100% stock cars like mine have experienced, and considering how Infiniti Consumer Affairs are such scumbags.
On a positive note, I do love my 100% stock G35x sedan as a daily driver, and this is coming from a guy with multiple 9 second toys.

If you want to modify a car, by a GM V8 with a stick, or a Turbo Porsche.
