G37 Sedan Chat Thread Meet-up
Nice pictures John!
After seeing all the others with coupe wheels I've been considering selling mine and using the money for other parts...seeing that the wheels aren't separating me from the rest
Connor let me know before you spend the money elsewhere.

Thought that might be fun, and get a LOL out of people who went to the meet. The Sport Coupe rims are certainly not unique on-line here, and subsequently at a meet-up. I didn't count, but I think more than half that crowd had Sport Coupe wheels on their Sedan. However, just tooling around Rochester, NY, I bet you've never seen another Sedan with those wheels before. Plus, they just look fantastic on the Sedan. With proven fitment. (Although spacers might work well with your drop, Zach.)
New wheels could very well mean new tires, and either way, it's a huge expense. So here's another, perhaps less costly, idea: do what Connor did with his Sport Coupe rims, and have them powdercoated something other than the OEM finish. (Black Chrome
) While at it, you could have the curb rash repaired. I bet if you did that, you'd be totally happy with the Sport Coupe rims for the rest of the time you owned the car.If you only have the one set of wheels, making it really awkward to have them painted, I could help out and let you run my 18" Duckfeet for a few days in order to get the work done. (They have snow tires on them, BTW.) What you would do is take the loose wheels to a shop to dismount the tires, take the wheels to a powdercoater, then have the tires re-mounted and balanced. I've used Leland Powdercoating a few times in the past; his shop is off of Dewey near the Ridge, which isn't too far at all from where you live.

You should have made it to dinner the night before the meet up in Va.

Albert got plenty of attention at the end of the day with that full ARK exhaust. All day long, I'm like, "Who's the guy with the ARK? Where is he?" LOL. Super kind of him to immediately offer his car to me for a quick drive. Instead of just goosing second gear up the hill, I should have gone outside the park and opened it up. (regrets)
So much black and gray. Only the two white sedans, until Albert showed up with his twin to my '11. Kind of disappointed not to see at least one red Sedan. Vibrant Red is so pretty with tinted windows. Such an uncommon color.
There was a surprising dearth of aftermarket wheels, just like there was an obvious presence of Sport Coupe 19's. That was unexpected.
which reverse LEDs do you have ? are they perhaps 5k ? these are the only bulbs I have left to replace. I want something that is 5k and very bright

I have no idea. They're white, and they're bright. A buddy of mine in Canada used to buy & sell LED bulbs, and he gave me four of these a couple years ago as a gift. 4 rows of 3 emitters, with one more on top. Pretty typical. One is still going strong, and the other lasted a little over two years.
