Thanks for the offer.

I've tried several shops and can't seem to be able to get them installed.

I spoke to Rob @ Sun Stoppers today and he "willing" to try to install them, but won't guarantee that it will come out correctly...50% chance.
Also he's charging $75+ for the install.

I told him I'll have to think about it and will contact him with my decision.

Not sure what to do now...?

actually that is not a bad price for installation but on the other hand, you're getting a 50% chance of them being installed correctly.

UPDATE:
Decided to ship overlays back to Andy and will be exchanging them for the Carbon Fiber Rear Valence instead.

I'm hoping that it will be easier to install and will find a competent installer to do it.
I would do it myself, but I'm on disability from work and can't manage things like I used to.

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments/suggestions!

Will update when all said & done...or if I require help.

GTR Tail Lights with Lumin-x Smoked Film

Went to Rob @ Sun Stoppers today and decided to have him custom cut a set of GTR rear overlays, which are similar to Andy's, but with Smoked Lumin-x film which is a bit thicker.

Cost was $100 installed.
Time of install was an hour.

Here is a couple of quick pics I took at the shop:

Still waiting for Andy to ship me the Carbon Fiber Rear Valence...will probably have Rob install that too.

Rob has great attention to detail and made sure I was happy with the install on the driver's side before he continued with tackling the passenger's...if I wasn't he would just remove it, no harm no foul.

Very professional and aimed to please the customer.

Just hoping the rear valence isn't too difficult to install

Wow Rob did a fantastic job!

Looks like I'll be going to him to get my rear valence installed as well as these GTR style overlays!

getting mine done on Tuesday, just a but wary since I'm not sure how good the vinyl is, I know its not clear as glass. I'm just a bit worried for its durability over the winter and just weather in general. I know it's lamin-x but still doubtful.

Dragion help me out here, convince me further lol.

I have customers who are still sporting my overlays since 2004! As long as you apply them correctly and take care of them, u should expect long life from them . Email me to order.

Just get it done...and don't look back.
You will be pleased with the outcome...no worries.

The Lamin-X is even thicker than the ones Andy sells...sorry Andy

I've gone through 2 New England winters and still good as new...you should know how "bad" they were!

Just be a bit careful when washing the car...make sure nothing sharp catches the edges of the overlay.

When said and done...post your pics!
