Careful I287 has alot of cops when you get to northern NJ.

 

my dad is a retired state trooper... he knows a lot of them, they know him as well.. I will talk to him and so if wecan get the green light for them not to bother us... most likely he can.. but a change to this event will take place in September due to the amount of car shows that are going on and people having projects. I'd rather try and make this work when the car season is slowing down a bit. cuz I know almost every weekend there is a show or event happening .. Just wanted to give all you guys a heads up to not have to rush anything.. plus the leaves will bring off that nice yellow/ red Autumn feel riding through the mountains... this will be done the right way and we'll be a fun time.. don't want to mess this up being my first ever event like this, just want to be sure of everything... I wiill be taking a ride up the mountain soon to route everything out. if anybody want to take the ride up there with me and another kid please PM ME with contact number.. thank you! for being so PATIENCE..

 

I dont know if Troopers are going to be willing anymore due to the whole AC/ Exotic Car thing that recently happened. Two troopers lost thier jobs for that escort. Granted we arent talking about them giving us an escort, but I have a feeling thier going to crack down on this a little bit more due to that event.

 

my father knew the two troopers his ex coworkers... trust me my dad was higher than the both of them. as long as we are not doing 100+ then it should be all fine... just take it easy. everyone..

 

I highly highly doubt any troopers will give anyone a "green light". Sorry to say it but this event is a complete fail.

 

I feel that you are trying to make this too big of an event. This is just a cruise, not a big car show that people from several different states in the NE are traveling to. I'm already inclined not to go anymore at this point. Just my opinion

 

I feel like we need to just set a date and spot and do this thing. I understand it's hard with your mother, but we've gotta just set this is stone and go then. I feel like we dont really need to get troopers involved, we just cant have anyone driving like idiots (no drifting... this isnt Fast and Furious: G37's gone wild). Can we try and nail down a date, time, and place, then we can even have just an easy list on here to see how many people might show?

 

Date proposed was morning of June 23 around 5-6 am? It will be a Sunday so it will be quiet. Rain date should be that following week, June 30

 

If this happens on 30th I'm in.

 

June 30th is Fresh Meet in Union NJ so I wont be able to make it.

 

Forgot about the Fresh Meet, I'm going to be going there as well. Anyone from NY want to cruise to that meet? ahah

I understand everybody opinion on my event. If you decide not to be patient with me and still be apart of this in september its all good. Thanks for the interest, im all new to this.... Hope you guys have nothing planned in the future to do anything and still want to be apart of this.... The thread will still be open with better details...
