Mod Friendly Dealer in NJ? Only looking to get a Catback.

Hey guys,

I just got an 08 g37s and love the car. The only mod i want to do is a catback to get some louder sound. Does anyone know of any mod friendly dealers in NJ? I'd love to hear about any dealer that is mod friendly or if they have dismissed your claims.

I am looking into these dealers:
Ray Catena Infiniti (Bridgewater or Edison)
Douglas Infiniti (Summit)
Salerno Duane Infiniti (Denville)
Flemington Infiniti

I am basically trying to make sure that the dealer will still do warranty work on my engine in case anything goes wrong.

I bought my car at Douglas Infiniti in Summit and while I was in for routine service I asked if they would install the Hotchkis sways that were just delivered to me 2 days earlier. They told me "the only parts we install are Infiniti parts". I guess bussiness is good when you can turn jobs away.

Are you saying they will install parts brought to them from outside their shop? I live quite close to Ray Catena in Edison so I wonder if they feel the same as you say about their Bridgewater dealership?

i purchased my car at douglas... unless you know someone, i don't think they will install aftermarket parts that they don't sell. but that being said... i've got an intake and cat-back and i have taken my car in for other service and the only thing they've said to me was "man... that thing sounds good" ... never declined warranty work

No i doubt they will put an exhaust on for you but theyll be cool about mods when you service the car there.
