First Post....so I hope I am in the write spot.
Picked up a 2009 G37xS sedan last year, and time has come to replace the brake pads in the front (about 47k miles). Any recommendations on a shop in NoVa area that where I can go to have this done? I am central to the Alexandria, VA area. I was thinking of purchasing the OEM pads and then just having some else beside the stealership do the install (they wanted $600 for the pads and rotor resurfacing). Any recommendation on where to get the pads and a shop to go to would be great.

I would say do it yourself. You don't have to be super handy to change front brakes. Take the wheel off, remove the caliper (probably a 12mm socket), pop out the old brakes, use a clamp or something to push the piston back in, insert new brakes, install caliper, put wheel back on, don't forget to tighten the lugs nicely, and smile big knowing 1) you did it yourself and 2) saved a ton of money - without even switching to Geico!
also my first post on here too, my name is Peter and i got a 2011 g37xS coupe with the carbon vinyl roof with the 20' vossen 085 wheels, i've been to a few of the rockville meets and i'll also be at import alliance. new to this whole forum thing
