Anyone in MD able to help me out? I have some new rims and I am trying to figure out what size spacer is needed to clear the BBK I have waiting to install. All I need to do is take off one front and one rear for this process and see what clears. I live in Owings Mills. Thx in advance.

Hey did you run your car at capital? I am dying to go this year, waiting for my takeda intakes to come in first.

Ah ok, cool. I wanted something to sharpen the front end a bit but haven't decided what yet.

I didn't, but I might on Friday when I go back with a friend. He has an Si and wants to know if he can keep up with the G lol... I think he can, especially since he's run before. I've only been to a drag strip twice, including Sunday, so timing is something I have to work on. And I've never done a burnout, so I'll have to learn how to heel-toe pretty quick lol

If your on street tires there is no need of a burnout just drive around the water box.

If weather permits, I might go this Friday for $hits-and-giggles to see what my car runs before I get the Up-Rev tune and Takeda intakes.

Need to get a helmet..., my daughter broke my old one. I should be in low 13s. My sedan is definitely faster than my old coupe.

Oh yeah, do you need a helmet to run? Or is that mainly for the full-time race cars? I had a helmet but it was destroyed along with my motorcycle

You were close :-) You have to wear a helmet if you run lower than a 13.49. I haven't been to the track in my Sedan yet so, I am hoping I can achieve those times or better. I won't bring a helmet since this is my first track day this year.

I ran for the first time today... 13.667 and 0.061 reaction time were my best... also did 13.717

So if I ever go again (not likely, I killed my mpg's today lol I was doing good!) I'll need a helmet.
