so i bought the G the end of last month. well this weekend a friend of mine started his 81' dodge ram, he had parked the truck in gear and forgot. Soo, when he started it he didnt have the clutch all the way to the floor. The truck jumps forward right into the front of my 3 week old G. I know you guys can imagine how I felt at the time. The damage isn't bad, just a few scratches from the screws on his license plate, and some ripples in the bumper that are barely noticable. The friend jumped out and immediately said sorry, take it to the dealer to get it fixed and ill pay for it. I am going to take the car up to the dealer as soon as I have some time this week.

Hope the bonfire was good this weekend, ill try to make it to the next event so i can meet everyone

 

hey do you guys know of any body shops you would recommend? I am in the Columbia area and I am trying to figure out if im just going to take it to the dealer or a body shop

 

Depends on what you want to get done would depict where i go

 

Wilson's Auto Body in Brooklyn Park does great work! Most of the time when you take it to the dealer they use some type of third party body shop anyway. Let em know Steve Crosby sent ya, he'll hook you up.

So,
I am looking for a shop in the area that is capable of doing a carcomputer set up or something like that. I am going to need engine managment and I want to add nav and a back up cam if I can. I know there are systems out there to use but who around here can do it. I plan on using hill's garage in baltimore for engine/car work but where can i get the electronics stuff done?? Oh Btw I live in Bethesda. The nearer the better but I'm willing to travel some for quality

 

Check out Driven Dynamics in Rockville. They are very well known for their tinting (had mine done there) and auto customization. Anything from; tint, lamin-x, to car PCs, car audio - ect. Google their name and their website will be the first link to come up.

 

There I also a place on rt1 that does alot of work for the g35 community - I'll try to find out the name , the specialize in electronics and aftermarket components install

 

almost 1 month since ordered the wheels... hopefully they will be on time and installed before it snows. lol
