Howdy folks. I just picked up a CPO 2015 G37 sedan (Q40) yesterday and will be moving to Bethesda later this month. A couple questions...

1) Any recommended shops to get tint done? Winners window tint on yelp has good reviews, but I'd rather take referrals.

2) Any recommended shops to get detailing done?

3) I will be working in Maryland, but I figure I'll be driving to VA/DC every now and then. Would you recommend me hardwiring my V1 or should I just sell it instead?

Hey Guys, I'm not on forums much but am part of NGC and am in Millersville myself as well as Nova on weekends. NGC Still does Rockville meets on Thursday but we also have a bi-monthly meet in Baltimore area(including today) so just keep an eye out on the public page!

When I got Tint done on my last car it was at D & L off of 40. Its north of Baltimore so its a stretch but they did a good job and it lasted well (even their own brand). They try to sell you on the 3M stuff but I just did their brand. I did see from other people that the 3m does come out darker.

 

D&L did my coupe. I opted for 3M in 20%. Very happy with the results.

 

Yea, I have seen both and the 3M is darker. The bottom line is that after several years it looked just as good as they day it was put on. No cracking, bubbling etc..

 

Are there any other meets in Maryland this summer? If so, when and where?

Ok. Thanks. I will try to stop by one Thursday. Does anyone know someone that might be willing to but a used IPL rear bumper? The bumper needs a dent repaired and the repair shop has informed me that it would cost about $250 to repair it. I am willing to sell the bumper for $300 to $400.

 

What was the place that did your wheels and how much? Thanks.

 

Hi I'm going to purchase g37x tommorow(private party), but needs to get MD inspected and any service if needed. Anyone recommends a shop in Rockville?

Can't recommend one but I will say to stay away from Montrose Motors in Rockville.
