Will do once I make some decisions. Right now I have wheels choices narrowed down to 10,000 options, tires are a little better at 3,000 options....then there are springs...LOL

 

Update for a place to do mods. I'll post feedback once thay're done. Hopefully I can get up there soon.

I actually did a little research On the place in Glen Arm, MD.

They are going to do my Eibach springs, SPC full front and rear camber kit, Hotchkis sways, put my new wheels and tires on, reset the TPMS and do a full 4 wheel laser alignment fo $1K.

It's MA Motorsports and they are specialists with a complete shop.

Im sure you can get it cheaper than 1k from different shop for all those mods installed.

I did look around but so many places won't or can't do an AWD alignment, particularly on a lowered car, so I would have go elsewhere for that. Then, there are the TPMSs, I won't have to go to the dealer for that ($100).

I wanted one-stop-shop from a tuning/mod place with a great rep and state of the art gear. Finally, these guys are 35 minutes from me so I 'm not schlepping to NOVA or Baltimore. Just a nice easy drive. At least going there...the ride home might be a little more...shall we say...stringent.

I will provide feedback after it's been completed.

I would be content if I could find a rep place in NOVA. It would be worth it for me. I just don't want to run into those places that say they do something and really don't know what they're doing. I want someone or place that has Nissan/Infiniti experience with at least the common mods that most of us do to our cars (MREV, sway bars, BBK (Akebonos, at least), coils + other suspension stuff). I heard EZ Auto is good in Sterling.

Yeah I sent many members to EZ Auto. Best price and work in NOVA area. Nissan Tech and he owns G35 sedan and had 240SX and member of National G Club.

+1 for EZ Auto. He's installed all of my parts and does my regular maintenance as well.

 

Will do and that's great that he is very knowledgeable with G's. I have a 06 G35 coupe that I'd like to get the MREV2 and spacer installed. May as well have him do the Z tube, while he is in there. Before he does all that though, I was thinking of asking him to inspect my engine for OC. I've had the test done at Infiniti a couple of times, but I really don't trust them bamas....LOL Since he is a G35 owner, he will know exactly what I'm worried about and perhaps knows exactly where to start looking (not that no one else is familiar with it).

PS - I think I may have met you there one time....once upon a time when you were selling a set of TE37SL's. I was considering buying them and came to take a peek at them...I think you may be the same dude...


Thanks V....I'd like for someone else perhaps rather than Nissan to do maintenance type work on my G. I am very particular, so its good to know that fellow G members have confidence in his work....its so hard to find good help these days with knowledgeable people...If I could just find the same for my Acura, I would be good to go. LOL!
