Listen . . . For all of you local Premier Members. If you haven't seen the Stillen Sway Bar Group Buy in the PM section . . . I have had a GB for less than a week. Thus far, it is proving to be going well. So well in fact, that I have had to request more units. And as such, I just wanted to give my local G pals a heads up on this GB.

Depending on what Paul of Avalon Racing determines with regard to availability . . . We may be ending the said GB sometime early next week.

If so desired, pay the GB a visit and/or pm me for more info and GB pricing.

 

Thanks for setting this up Andy. I think it's time we start planning the next group buy- I have my eyes set on a Tein coilovers.

 

LOL . . . I need to survive this one first, Boris. I am waiting on a reply from one of the admins with regard to GB's. Are GB's allowed to be posted outside of the PM's section? If so, I will do so the next time, because I have had to refuse a bunch of non PM's on my Stillen GB. Two of the people, whom I couldn't let in on the GB, I know personally and that sucked. I didn't want to break any forum rules and have the whole GB cancelled.

The rules for GB's are pretty vague in this area:
18.) GROUP BUYS
Members are to post what they would like a Group Buy on, and wait for a sponsoring vendor to reply and set it up from there. If a vendor is willing to make a profit from this site, they should be willing to step up and become a sponsor and give back to the site that is helping them make the profit. Any post made containing information on a Group Buy being handled by a company who is not a paying advertiser of this site will be locked or deleted. Any company attempting to set up or promote a Group Buy without being a sponsoring vendor is subject to banishment. If you wish to set up a group buy and are not a vendor then please follow the Group Buy GUIDELINES.

Yes, Eloy, I am waiting for Geo's reply. However, the GB is moving along. Since it is in the PM's section, I have limited the GB to the same.

I found and read the same rule, which you have in the FAQ, thanks!

Paul, nothing yet. I am asking for a bit of assistance from GeoBau, because someone in SoCal posted a local thread to announce my Premier Member Section Group Buy for the Stillen Sway Bars . . . That thread has since been either deleted. Sooo, based on that what am I to think?

I posted in that particular SoCal thread that people were required to be PM's . . . And believe me there was a bit of flack over that issue.

I know that GeoBau was on-line when I pm'd him my query. I guess it's a touchy subject. Thus, I have no clear direction.

Shoot, I tell you what . . . I am going to stick my neck out on the line, here. Unless, I am otherwise notified . . . I will add anyone to the list, whom wants in on this GB. To keep this out in the OPEN . . . Please make your request to me here on this thread.

Paul, I know that you and David (Fini) were both interested in getting a set each. Let me know, if you guys are still interested. I will pm anyone interested the details, which I have received from Paul at Avalon Racing. Once again, please make your request here on this thread. I don't want any of the Admins to think that we are doing anything behind closed doors.

Edit: At this time, I have made a request to Paul of Avalon Racing for the availability of additional sway bar sets beyond his current inventory. I am waiting for a response.

 

Okay, more sway bar sets will be made available and they are GOLD in color.

 

I don't really see why a GB would be affected by member status? It's not a buy or promotion between the boards and the retailer... it's just you setting up a good deal. Gimme a break.

With that said, I would like to get a set of the Stillens... although I would like to request "non-bling" gold if possible.
