Recomendations for brake service in SF area.
That time has come, ......again! I need to change out my front and rear brakes. Since I can't afford to give up an arm or a leg, I'm staying away from the dealerships. Anyone have any recomendations where I can get my brakes done in the SF Bay area at a descent price and without using wal-mart quality pads?

do you need just pads? if so, just order some aftermarket ones and DIY.. there are plenty of DIY on this forum on how to change the pads..
if you need resurfacing, i don't know what to tell ya..

I wish I could change them myself, but I jacked up knee and physically can't do it right now. Figure that, disabled at 27!
The rotors seem smooth enough so I' guessing pads might just be enough though. I'm hoping to get the pads done within a week or so, hopefully before my volk gt-c's come in.

for any work on the car, i highly recommend Z Car Garage - www.zcargarage.com - talk to Rob, he'll take great care of you.

I owe you for all of the help you've provided on my car.If you do need a resurfacing of the rotors as well, I've got a shop in SSF that will do it for cheap.
Let me know.

Thanks guys, now to get the brakes.....Non Brembo, 2004 5at Coupe. Any suggestions for low brake dust stret pads out there that won't sacrifice braking power or squeal like a newborn pig? Boris, I'll let you know once I get some pads, maybe another install meet....I'm willing to rent that garage w/lift if we need to.
