Just needed to know a few things about the car. I might be buying it. Doesn't seem like the dealer wants to give too much info about it though. Dealer says the car's never been in an accident but the color of the rear bumper is slightly off. Thanks!

Chance are it isnt an local car, you'd be surpriesed where dealer get their used cars from, I check out couple of used 05 S4 at stevenson's creek Audi? one of them was from east coast!, get the VIN and do a carfax if you have weir feeling about it, or just ask dealer for it.

most indepedent car dealerships get their vehicles from auctions that were lease return, repo, etc. they come from all over the country. for some reason all the cars I checked came from NJ or NY.

get a carfax and run it, there's someone on the forums doing it for free until mid next month. check body panels and parts for matching vins. and do a little knocking inorder to hear and feel bondo. hope this helps. good luck

also check the glovebox for documents. if not, look into the manual, some people fold paperwork and leave it in there. you might be able to find out where the car was sold, the original owner and his contact information.

It's common for the bumper color to be slightly off because it's painted plastic.
It shows on some colors more than others.
