1) D87 - 5AT - 10 wire AT performance kit (San Francisco) BLUE ($137)
2) Andy2434 - 8 wire 6MT performance kit (Daly City) BLUE ($117)
3) Hokori04g35 - 6MT full performance system with 8 wires (Sacramento) BLUE ($117)
4) myst - 10 wire AT performance kit (San Jose) BLUE ($137)
5) 1Gig - 5AT - 10 wire AT performance kit (San Francisco) RED ($137)
6) TinTinBeeBee - 10 wire AT performance kit (Sunnyvale) RED ($137)
7) 4DrSkyline - 10 wire AT performance kit (Discovery Bay) RED ($137)
8) vodkarocket - 10 wire AT performance kit (San Bruno) SMOKE ($137)

Danny: The 10-Wire 5AT Systems will be $130 USD plus $7 each for shipping = $137 each (MSRP $200 USD + S&H).
The 8-Wire 6MT Systems will be $110 plus $7 = $117 each (MSRP $186 USD + S&H).
So, the total for the MO should be $1316 USD, but please double check my figures. Regards Gord

UPDATE: Gord did his math wrong, this is what I sent him: Gord, just checked the figures:
$137 x 6 = $822
$117 x 2 = $234
$822 + $234 = $1056.00

After he confirms, let's settle on a place (preferably a bank) and date with cash and send him one cashier's check. I suggest any Citibank in San Fran on Friday, that'll give you guys that are not in SF time to come into the city. Let me know.

Sorry guys, I think I'm going to opt out on this one. I got a quote from Gord for $144 shipped compared to $137 group buy. $7 don't seem much of a savings for me to go through the hassle of meeting up twice, one for payment and second for the pickup. Plus, gas hasn't been cheap. I would do it if there was at least a $25 savings. Again, sorry for opting out guys. Thanks for setting this up D87.

I am saving about $7, as well. However, I am still down for the wires. $117.00 for the wires . . . Okay, just say when and where.

I just told Gord that one guy dropped, so now the shipping should be less because that's one less set to ship for weight - so maybe we save even more! Remember 1Gig, we're getting that free Cabin Filter for every 5 orders and he's also sending some kind of promo stuff for us to share.

He also suggested that we sell the Cabin Filter to that guy in this post that was asking for it and if we divvy that savings up you end up saving even more. But, of course, in the end it's up to you.

I plan on being in the bay this Friday throughout the weekend. But I probably won't arrive till late Friday evening. So just let me know if we can meet up Saturday or Sunday and I will drop off the money.

Even more benefits for you guys for me to opt out. I haven't moved to SF yet, and I will be on a business trip out of the country this Thursday so I won't even have time to meet up with you guys even if I was to stay in on the buy. Thanks again D87.

I'd have to drive into the city by Friday to drop off my money?!? Maybe it's different for those of us who live and/or work in S.F., but at best I'm about an hour away. I was under the impression that we could mail a check (or cashier's check) to one person who would then send one cashier's check to Gord. If that's not the case, I'll just work a deal with him directly.

I'm willing to buy 1 of those carbon filters if the price is right...that will help to knock down the price a little.

That's not a problem! I just thought since you guys didn't know each other that you wouldn't feel comfortable sending money to a stranger, but I'm ok with you sending me a cashier's check! As soon as everyone chimes in on FOR SURE buying, PM me and I'll give you my address/name/etc.
See next update...

1) D87 - 5AT - 10 wire AT (San Francisco) BLUE ($137) "Citibank"
2) Andy2434 - 8 wire 6MT (Daly City) BLUE ($117)
3) Hokori04g35 - 8 wires 6MT (Sacramento) BLUE ($117)
4) myst - 10 wire AT (San Jose) BLUE ($137)
5) TinTinBeeBee - 10 wire AT (Sunnyvale) RED ($137)
6) 4DrSkyline - 10 wire AT (Discovery Bay) RED ($137)
7) vodkarocket - 10 wire AT (San Bruno) SMOKE ($137)

$137 x 5 = $685
$117 x 2 = $234
$685+ $234 = $919 TOTAL TO GORD

Ok, I took out 1Gig's order and made it cleaner. Gord says shipping is the same (and he confirmed on sending us promos!). Since Friday seems bad for some let's do Saturday. How about Saturday, Citibank on West Portal (Citibank 130 West Portal Ave, San Francisco, CA 94127) at 11:00am. We can get the cashier's check right then and there. If you're in, copy and put down "Citibank" next to your name at the top like me. If you're sending me a cashier's check, put "Sending" (hopefully it's just one person because I have to cover the cost until the check arrives).

I think depositing directly into the account may make it easier for people than trying to gather everyone at the same location at the same time.

I take back the last post. I'm not sure about giving out my banking information would be wise. Let see if we can get everyone to meet up. If some can't make it, they'll have to send a money order/cashier's check to Gord themselves but keep in mind that Gord probably won't ship until he actually gets the payment from everyone.
