You and me both Andy. I am still trying to figure out how I survived. I think your doughnuts helped out a bit.

I also saw that you are on the hunt for the exhaust already. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as I do.

People, I think Eric holds the speed record for taking out the door panels and glove compartment in our cars, you should have seen it...

Tony, how is that mid-pipe working for you? Did you guys get all the wires in, including the TCU and ECU? I still have to get mine in but I'm a little hesitant and I'll probably need someone's brain next weekend if you guys did it already.

Sorry! I've been away all weekend. Car is *ahem* TOO FUN NOW!

Boris: Thanks for helping me doing the midpipe install. I can now be sure I can install other people's midpipes. Asides from the )(@#*$ bolt, everything was nice and simple. I took the car to a picnic that evening, and people noticed the different exhaust sound immediately. I'm happy with it. Now I'm not scared of messing with my car anymore.

Are you okay though? I remember you got a couple of cuts that morning.

Eric: Thanks for helping me do the wire installation. The car feels a lot smoother now. And the manumatic mode is awesome now. I went home and started to mess with that tab in my glove. I still dont know how the heck to get that tab open yet. I think I'll try a different approach this weekend.

Danny: Thanks for setting up the group buy. I still dont know how you were able to hold yourself back from opening that box.

Andy: Great to meet you. Now that you've been bitten by the modbug, I can't wait to see what you're going to do with your car.

Rob: I'm so impressed by how fast you did the installation on your car. You were done with your car before I was done with mines! Oh, and thanks for doing the tranny wire install for me.

Gordon: Thanks for the great quality wires. I'll have a review soon too. I want to think about a few things before I write it all up. And thanks for the extra bonus. And we had a good laugh with the depression papers.

Boris: Did you do your install yet? The install is pretty easy except my car had this stupid tab on the glove that wouldnt release. Hopefully your dont have that problem.

Tony, I'm glad the middy worked out well for you. I've got a bunch of battle scars from the install, but I think I'll live!

I haven't had a chance to install the wires yet, but I need to do it in the next two days because I plan on going to the track Wednesday night.

Great! Everyone had a good time. I found the gathering to be more informative than I had expected.

Eric, East Bay MUD, eh? Hey, listen you deserved to get that filter. You answered a bunch of questions and probably cut my install by half.

Thanks to Rob, I have found my new exhaust set-up. I will be placing an order for the HKS Hi-Power exhaust, tomorrow. Now, my brother wants my mid pipe for his sedan. Sound familiar, Tony? LOL

Boris, heal up very soon, eh? I might need a hand with my brother's middy install. j/k

See you guys around at the next get together.

If you ever need help, feel free to contact me!

Eric came by this afternoon and we (read: he) finished my wire installation. I had to spend a good 30 minutes under the car in the dark trying to locate the correct mounting point on the tranny housing.

The ECU was reset and I proceeded to rape my car through the streets of San Bruno.

Sounds like you guys had a good get together. Too bad I had other plans which prevented me from going. Rob and I met on his way home, so I have my wires. Installation of the first 8 is completed without too much drama. I just didn't have the patience at the time to do the final two. Once that's done and I've had a chance to flog the car some more, I'll have a review for you Gord.

Andy: hehe, once the modbug bites, it wont stop hurting. Your brother is going to want an HKS endpiece once he does the middy install. I know I do XD

Boris: How are the wires? Is MM mode different now? I cant believe how fast Rob found the place to install my tranny wire. He was under the car for like 2 minutes and comes out saying, "Done!"

ahh.. good times XD

Ha ha, that's just like me! Except I still haven't gone under the car for the tranny-wire, so I have 3 more total. It was a good meet and maybe we can merge that BBQ on another thread with a "Bring your tools" to do some other installs! There's got to be a parking lot/grassy area with enough room to park Gs while charbroiling some chicken wings!

Thank you for the offer, Eric. I can't imagine us crawling around under my car trying to install my new exhaust, if and when it gets here. I'll keep your offer in mind though.

Yeah, Eric was a great help to many of us. He's a true sport. If he hadn't shown a few of us, I would have had a difficult time tearing my glove box and other items apart.

LMAO! I can just imagine you on a rampage through San Bruno in that very sharp looking IP of yours.

LOL . . . I'll mention that to him. If you get an HKS endpiece let me know how it works for you. I am sure my brother would be interested in your experience.

Danny, I won't be around this coming weekend. However, if you need a hand later to finish up your wire install, I can give you a hand.

Thanks Andy, I'll holler if I need help. Gord sent me some detailed pics so I'm going to try to do it myself (no pics = me )
