I'm a friend of Myst. I'd like to see the wires in person/action and I'll probably be stopping by tomorrow before I head on into work in the afternoon.

I will be there and I will try my best to get there around noon or before so I can join in on the install.

D87, I won't be able to make it, so Hokori is authorized to pick up my wires for me. He and I will meet up on Sunday on his way home to transfer them to me.

Good luck with the install and thanks Vodka for securing the location. Have fun everyone.

GizSF is bringing the drill.

If you have a socket set, please bring that (just so we have more than one on hand).

See you tomorrow!

Ok, sounds like:

VodkaRocket: Install
Myst: Install
4DrSkyline: Hokori pick up
Hokori: Pickup
Andy2324: Pickup
Me: Probably just drop off/pickup

Might drop by: GizSF and DeeVader

I'll be there at 10am and hang around for a little while so I can distribute. If I have to leave before Hokori gets there, I'll leave his and 4DrSkyline's with Vodka, along with the "freebie" for each buyer that Gord said is in the box.

Regarding the cabin filter: Unless people have a major objection, I think I'll give everyone $5 each and keep it since I kinda need it too (that comes out to $30 - the same price we were going to sell it to GizSf for). If need be, I'll also leave the money with Vodka for whomever I didn't get to meet in person.

If no other issues, I'll see you guys tomorrow (except 4DrSky). Now it would be really stupid if I forget the box at home...

Just wanted to say a, "Thank you!" to D87 for coordinating everything and vodkarocket for provide the meeting place. Myst, I trust your wire install and mid pipe are working well. Gizsf, thanks for showing some of us the ins and outs. That carputer looks really good.

The only negative to this day is that after having seen vodka's and Hokori's cars, the mod bug has bite a bit harder. Loving that HKS sound, Hokori. Your G is sweeet!

Thank you all for coming out- wish I could have stayed longer.

Tony, I hope the midpipe was a worthwhile mod for you, and I can't wait to hear about the results from the Grounding Gear kit.

Andy, thank you for bringing donuts, I have been munching on them all day.

Eric, thanks again for your expertise, I am sure the process would have taken much longer without your presence.

Danny, thanks for arranging the group buy, and managing to keep the box sealed this whole time.

Alvin, thanks for bringing along your tools- mine are officially being thrown out and being replaced with some high quality ones.

Rob, thanks for bringing your hungover self out to see us so early in the morning. After hearing your HKS exhaust, it makes my new Stillen sound so puny!

Gordon, thank you for hooking us up with such an incredible group buy price as well the freebies, but I have to ask, why the papers on depression?

Thanks Gord, for all your invested time!

Everyone, it was really nice to meet you guys, and I learned my fair share of tinkering the innards of my G - I no longer fear opening the door panels nor the glove box! I got home and couldn't wait to install my wires. I got everything in except for the #7 (tranny, under-the-car), the ECU, and TCU wires.

4DrSkyline - Nobody seem to mind, but we gave Eric the cabin filter. His expertise, hard work, and elbow grease was definitely worth my $5 share of the filter, and I didn't get anyone else asking for money, but if you would like yours I'm SURE he won't mind (same goes for everyone else).

Don't forget, please review the wires on that Modification thread for Gord, I'm sure he'll be happy about that.

Hope we can do this again soon! And yes, it was hard to keep from opening the box!

Got my GroundingGear wires installed including the ECU wire. It went fairly well. Thanks to Eric for the DIY demo. It helped alot when I was installing my wires. It took about 2 hours. Now to reset the ECU and take it for a spin.

Oh, be careful when making a hole for the ECU wire at the harness housing. That rubber piece is quite soft. A drill bit might get all twisted in there.

What happened to the oil analysis? Some people just can't wait huh?

Thanks for the tip on the ECU, I think I'll wait until next weekend to install that.

Yeah, couldn't wait. Wires look really nice in the engine bay. Car seems to idle smoother. That much I have noticed for sure, at this time.

It was great meeting all of you guys this weekend. Thanks for putting up with my alchoholic self. Although, I realized I could have slept for another hour since we didn't put everything in till after 1.

As far as the wire install, boy it was pretty easy. Especially since I had a car to compare it to lol. Ya, I kinda cheated but it was fast. Thanks to the guys who stayed at the end with me to give me a hand.

Ok, time for me to rest now since I have a splitting headache from a pretty crazy weekend. See you guys around

Rob
