GordGee's Grounding Wires - SF
Ok, it sounds like Saturday at 10:00am at Vodka's is best for pickup/install. Whomever can't be there at 10, I'll leave the stuff with Vodka so you can get to his place before 1:00 to get it. If everyone is ok with that, confirm here and Vodka can PM us his addy.
I totally didn't get to ask: How do you guys want to deal with the one free cabin filter we got from Gord?

Hokori, when are you returning back to the Sacramento area? I probably won't be able to make it between 10am and 1pm on Saturday, so could I have you pick mine up and I meet you on your way back? Say in Tracy or Livermore? I'd even offer to help you install yours at my house if you drop them off in Discovery Bay. If not, I can figure out another way/time to pick them up.
Regarding the filter, is that something they change out at the 30k service? My car's 30k service is coming up, so I may be interested in purchasing it unless someone already has dibs on it. How much is it anyway?
Thanks Gord and thanks D87 for working out the deal!

Ok. I'm down with 10am at Vodka's. Do you have all the necessary tools at your place? I can borrow my landlord's tools and bring them there if needed.
I dont have a need for the filter, so I'm out there too.
Who's bringing vodka too? XD

Gordon, PM'd you regarding the payment. It doesn't make sense that PayPal won't let you accept it though. I am looking into this.
In regards to the install, I will send out the address tomorrow (still finding out if I can do it at my girlfriends' parents home, as my place has limited space to work).
I have the appropriate sockets, jack, and jackstands. Somebody will need to bring a drill with the drill bits, as well as the lube. It would be great if someone also brought along an extra set of sockets/jackstands so we can work on more than one car at a time.
Lastly, I remember user GizSF posed some interst in the HEPA filter. I think we agreed on selling it to him for $30, which split 6 ways is $5 a piece!

I'll buy 1 of those filters on saturday if there's one for sale.
I'm also willing to help out with the installs on the grounding kits. Make sure someone brings some silicone to seal the entry point into the cabin though.

I have secured a location for our DIY install day. We will be doing this at my girlfriends' parent's house at 10:00 AM. We need to be done/out of there at 1:00 PM, as I have an event to get to in the afternoon, so anybody coming to just pick up the wires make sure to come before 1:00.
The address is:
2540 Lexington Way
San Bruno, Ca 94066
If you need to reach me tomorrow, my cell # is: 415-351-8595.
Again, I have the appropriate sockets, 2 jack stands, and a nice hydraulic jack.
We still need someone to bring the silicone sealant and power drill/drill bits.
It wouldn't hurt to bring an extra jack/jack stands and an extra socket set so we can do more than one car at a time.
Everyone please confirm that you can come, and what you will be bringing.

(don't make it too small either or forget to lube the end of the wire lug, or the clear shrink may get pushed out of place).
Boris, maybe the easiest for this payment is for you to just get another MO or if the bank is open tomorrow, another Cashier's Cheque. Drop it into the mailbox tomorrow when the other guys are there, and it should get to me at the end of next week. Yours is the first payment that's ever lost it's way completely, so I can't imagine that it would again.
Unless we want to try another Paypal transaction and hope that I can actually receive it. One of the others paid by Western Union transfer, but it I lost about $4 in exchange and he had to pay an exorbitant amount for the transaction! (Damn W.U. makes money coming and going!

Let me know.
